My interest in pottery began in 2014 when I started doing an adult education class at Harrow Arts Centre with potter Glen Ettienne.  Over the last three years I have become more and more fascinated in ceramics and the boundless possibilities this art form has to offer.  My family and I moved north in July 2016 and after a year of settling in, some home schooling and less time to work with clay than I had hoped, I was delighted not only to discover the MA ceramics course being run by UCLAN, but to be offered a place there, starting September 2017.

As part of our course work for the MA in ceramics at UCLAN we have been asked to keep a reflective journal to help document our learning, discoveries and progress over the next couple of years, as we complete the course.  This blog will be that journal.

I live in Lancaster with my husband, three children and two dogs.
